Our Dogs

Yellow Lab

Stormy

Yellow Lab

Born October 17, 2024

Stormy is the official “Hockey Dog” of the ECHL Adirondack Thunder team! She is bringing smiles to all the fans and providing team spirit to all of the players! You can find her chasing pucks, chomping on ice, and practicing her stick handling! We are very excited to watch Stormy grow up on the ice as she continues her training to become a psychiatric service dog and future mama to more FMSDs!

Golden Retriever

Story

Golden Retriever

Born June 16, 2023

Story joined the FMSD family the summer of 2023 all the way from Chicago. There were BIG plans for Story, even before she made it to New York that summer. Firefly Meadow was in need of an ambassador. A dog with a kind soul, gentle demeanor, and one that has never met a stranger. Story has been everything we imagined and more. At just a year and a half old, her soul shines bright and touches everyone she meets. Chelsea wrote a book entitled, A Story to Share, which goes on to teach children all about service dogs. Story will be going into schools and libraries to teach these valuable lessons to the next generation.

Black Labrador Retriever

Ritzy

Black Labrador Retriever

Born April 12, 2022

Ritzy is extremely smart and wanting to please. She loves to play with other dogs but is all work when she puts her vest on. She is currently serving as a Psychiatric Service Dog for Chelsea – helping with panic attacks, deep pressure therapy and more.

We are very excited to see the puppies she produces once she passes all of her health clearances after the age of two.

German Shepherd

Prom

German Shepherd

Born December 14, 2022

Prom, often refered to as, PromQueen is an independent lady that is calm and confident no matter the situation. She is still very young, but her Service Dog training is coming along nicely. Prom is already “dog neutral” when out in public and settles wonderfully in new environments.

Hopefully her babies with take after this mom-to-be when she has her first litter in about a year and a half.
